Rainbow Bridge Friendship Tales
After finishing their earthly journeys, animals who have deep connections with humans go to a special place called Rainbow Bridge. At Rainbow Bridge they make new friends, reunite with old friends, play, and sometimes think of their humans. Time goes by quickly at Rainbow Bridge until, someday, they are reunited with their humans.
Rainbow Bridge Friendship Tales is a series of drawings that portray the daily activities and friendship among real animal friends at Rainbow Bridge. We would love to draw your angel pet(s) and have them be part of the project. Your memories of them will be posted on the website as well. (We are hoping to have 1,000 animal friends.🌈) Please complete the form below, and we will get in touch with you very soon.
P.S. Our pets, Miaomiao and Kuli, are also there–the cat with a pink swim tube and the dog holding a sweet potato. They would love to make some new friends :)
“When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.” —Unknown Author, The Rainbow Bridge Poem
“I think I needed someone to love me and he needed someone to love. He loved napping on the couch with me while I read, sitting in the sun, drinking only cold water, and barking at the mailman.”
“This morning I saw a stranger walking their dog. I had to fight the urge to run up and tell them that I, too, have a dog, but he died on Sunday.”
“After his passing, Paul Anka was awarded with a Certificate of Honor by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors…”
“I loved Hime all through the 8 months we had her, and loved Kitsune the whole 15 years we had him.”
“I am tired now and mom is holding me as I take one final journey. Leaving mom is hard, but we will forever be in each others hearts.”
“And I said it your time and gave him a kiss and I got up and he made a sound. And I ran back to him and he was gone. I cried so hard and screamed for my mom.”
“He was a real shepherd who herded our family together and we will miss him forever.”
“I was living in my car using opiates with him living in the car with me…I stopped using as hard so I could buy him food.”
Add My Pet
We are currently taking a pause to prepare for the second half of the project. 🫶
“After discussing options with the doc, it was decided that the most humane and unselfish act would be to euthanize him.”
