Translation (by Shin):
My parents took care of Guny after my sister and I moved out of their house. My sister got married and I moved to Seoul. Guny always welcomed us every time we went home to visit. He enjoyed running the lake in Seoul Grand Park. The most lovely moment during our walks was when we made eye contact with each other. I feel sorry that I didn't get to walk with him very often and left him lonely. I thought I had healed from the loss, but I still miss him so much. I want to tell him that I love him and give him a big hug. Guny was our first pet, and I still feel guilty that I didn't treat him well enough. I hope I can see him happy in a drawing with other friends, then I will be happy too.

“He came to my life months after my grandmother passed away. In a way he taught me how to behave in the human world - always stay happy and not mind too much about others; and keep on doing what I want to do. He loved to be like a dolphin, flipping his body front and back. He was adopted from the street from a person who sells street food. He is mainly white but has brown and yellow patches on his head and back. So he was named ‘花花’ (flowers) by his previous owner.” —Mimi

“Toro was so brave and smart, also very kind to everyone. He was able to play ‘hide-n-seek’ with me. I vividly remember when I was hiding behind of the audio play, I could clearly hear the cutest sound in the world. The Sound of Toro stepping on the wood floor with his cute toes.” —Jae
