Bandit & Vexie

Left to right : Bandit and Vexie came to Rainbow Bridge on 01/10/2012 and 12/01/2022, respectively.

🐾

My Bandit was left behind when some "people" moved. I cannot understand why anyone would do that, especially to a sweet, tiny little dog. He was the friendliest little guy and he liked to be held like a baby. My husband named him Bandit for no particular reason, but then a few years later, there was an incident where he got bit in the eye by another dog and lost his right eye. He truly became a little Bandit!
In the picture of him in a costume, he has no eye under the patch. He loved wearing shirts and sweaters and he really liked the day we went to the Howloween party at the local Humane Society. He won first place for Cutest Pet in that costume that I made myself. The next year, he was CatDog.
He really loved everyone and was the best dog anyone could ask for. I am only saddened that we only got 4 years with him.

Vexie has been by my side for seven years, she was my very first pet reptile. She had her moments of peace and sass. Vexie had a very vibrant yet gentle personality. She very much enjoyed cuddles, bath time, sunbathing, and hiding into little nooks and crannies. Words can’t fathom how much I miss her. She was my best friend, my sidekick, my little “crunchy puppy”. I believe she came into my life for a great reason. I would do absolutely anything to have one more day with her by my side, to see her puff her little beard, to have her climb on my shoulders so she’d feel tall. I know she’s safe and sound wherever she may be now.
