“My bro, Miloh. I miss you so so much.” —Shane Jazuk

“[Scout] was such a sweet little rat. He loved his brother so much. They would snuggle together and it was the sweetest thing. His favorite food was banana, and he would get banana every morning. He was always a little scared when being held, but loved to be held if he had a protective blanket.” —Ryan

“On Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 1:47 pm, my best friend of 16 years passed away. It gets harder and harder each day you aren’t here with me, but I know you ran across the rainbow bridge without the pain of arthritis and hip dysplasia holding you back. I love you, Macy, my lil Beet :)
Macy was quite a trooper. Surviving anemia, gastrointestinal problems, an 8 foot fall off the roof, and many more, she never failed to amaze me that she lived through it for so long. She was wanderlust; always running away to explore the unknown.
I’ll miss the sound of you eating apples, chips, or other crunchy foods. It brought me so much joy knowing you enjoyed it so much.
I’ll miss your endless huffing and puffing. Even though your breath reeked from the omega 3 oils we gave you, your tongue constantly sticking out made for a lot of very photogenic opportunities.
Even though you couldn’t hear me 99% of the time during your last year or so, I knew you could somehow feel the love that I was trying to give to you through my words.
I’ll miss the way you took treats out of hands. If it was a flat palm, you’d lick the treat out of the hand, but if it was given straight on, you'd munch the crap out of the fingers that gave it to you.
I miss singing and dancing around the housing to “I LOVE MY LITTLE BEET!” And then running to hug you after. I hope you felt loved.
I get emotional when I look at your pictures or see other dogs that resemble you in any way: your deep bark, your black face that most resembled a lab; or even thinking about you (which happens pretty often).
Even though you were a handful the last 6 months of your wonderful life, I would go through it for years and years if it means spending another day with you. I remember every day and night picking up and cleaning your diarrhea, wiping your butt and tail with baby wipes, constantly washing your paws and booties that were covered in crap, and in the last week of your life, cleaning up vomit. It’s alright. I hope that there are better things and better times across the rainbow bridge.

I love my ‘lil beet’.” —Maya
